hello!
i'm a 25/M, Cancerian from Darjeeling,
"The Queen of Hills", a really beautiful town.
I am an avid reader i like to write & work online, you can see me at:

This is our fourth generation here. My father is a businessman by profession, and mother a good house-wife. I think i am blessed to be her son. I LOVE YOU. My grand-father, Shri KaliDas Das, had come to Darjeeling, from Senhati, Siddhantapara, Bangladesh with his father in the 1920's and started up a small inn, near the 'Dhirdam Temple' called the "Bengal Boarding"/1923, worked a couple of years and then shifted to 3. Waddell Road, (now the 3 & 4. Nager Chand Goenka Road) and took in charge of "THE CENTRAL BOARDING" in 1928. This was the time when only three (3) to four (4) hotels were there in entire Darjeeling. The Snow View, The Hindu Boarding and lastly ours. My be I will write about our hotel later. Today that same Darjeeling has transmogrified itself so drastically. My elder sister, schooled from Loreto Convent, Darjeeling, is currently teaching as a school teacher in Siliguri. My elder brother...everyone calls him 'Jesus' may be he deserves to be called by that respected name. I am the youngest of the family, I have done my schooling from Saint. Joseph's School, North Point, Darjeeling (1992-2000), and after completion of my +2, joined the Darjeeling Government College, where i took up the stream of Arts, and completed my B.A with English as the prime subject. After this i'm currently pursuing my Master's Degree in English from the same institution. I' am highly thankful to my favourite English teacher in school, Mr. "Andre Lefevre", who made me eligible to reach till this point in life. Next and immediately my heart-felt thanks to the H.O.D of our college (Eng.Dept) Dr. & Reader "Irshad Ghulam Ahmed "and Senior Lecturer and mother like mam, "Indranee Ghosh", who have collaboratedly elevated me to this degree and blessed me with...everything. Thank You teachers, you are my life. Oneday if i get a scope, i will definitely prove myself to you. Your hard labour on us will definitely bring colours. I miss you all. I would like to continue furthur with acedemics and complete the Bachelor of Education Degree as well as prepare for the National Eligibility Test (N.E.T) this year. When i was in school i was a good at acting (Sir. Craig Reynolds who inspired me to carry on), a moderate table-tennis player( training from a Korean Coach Sir Joe Nam Phung in School), a good elocutionist (Sir Lefevre) and what else...while going to the H.M.I trekking course, i realised i was a good trekker/rock-climber too*(Mr. Pema Tashi). Till now, i have maintained this steady determination to become a professor in life, to broaden and brighten the sphere of education, joining the two opposites together. I also wish to do something for the orphan children, who are destituted and neglected, as well as for the stray animals, whose calls of plead we seem not to understand. Keep reading, and reflect your depth of knowledge, while participating with me. Thank You, for everything...
with Prayers and Best Wishes...
love,
Rajiv.
