Nature give us perhaps more than we deserve. Nature never grows old, never perishes, it only keeps growing with us, in every inch that we take it envigorates our mindset and residues the mind to Peace. You cannot possibly imagine what scenic beauty i have enjoyed during my stay in Darjeeling this time. Earlier when i used to live here things were so casual for me, now that i have stepped out to the Metropolis lifestyle, i feel it missing. In every breadth that i inhale i miss the dew dropped mild air exactly like a mint. I cannot tress pass the mild chilling breeze that provides relief of sweat and fatigue. One such place in Darjeeling town is the view from Lower Hooker Road, the bridge that connects myne own college with the upper town. Aah! this noon when i was walking back from college, after attending the 'Foundation Day Programme', i found myself stopping by the bridge which i never cared of. To my amaze i could not refrain myself from taking a long sight towards the natural set up of the blue greeen mountains. The houses shimmered like sand grains under the soothing sun. Every minor details could be seen, i could point out every landmark or major establishments in town. This town is my old town, my home-town...how can i forget it.Today it is 15* here, whereas the hasty Metro is about 35...what a difference. My soul was thirsty for what i had beholded to see for long. The enveloping clouds over the rear mountain top, the crystal clear blue sky (which i am lucky to see in full monsoon season) the rain pour which has paused couple of hours back had made the entire town 'God's own paradise'. The panoranic view was so impressing that i claimed myself lucky to stand at that position and getting to see what for many was a wish yet to be fulfilled. The vivid canvas of my vision increased even better when i pictured myself deeply engrossed in nature. With a soft music of the player it made it eben better. I delved deep into a transce, just noticing the natural landscape and the unending pleasure nature offers. The coiled creepers on the wet fencing made it look like heaven. Heaven is subjective, and for me it was. The purple coloured flowers on the grill through which i could clearly see the 'Happy Valley Tea Estate'(1854) Factory was a glance so expensive, The wet red painted tin roof with the name designed in yellow was so fabulous to stare at. The entire structure looked like a toy frame. The rain drops were still drooping from the checked grill, and i certainly did envision the charismatic intake of my eyes entering as a permanant mark in my mind. My eyes were then acting no less than a camera, because i was capturing the gradients of the mountain slopes with full concerntration, focused and devoted. I was lucky. The birds chirping all around, trivial* people walking up the curls on the dunes were seeming to me as if water coloured painting. There are many forms of Art...literature, music, painting, recitation, theatre...many. I was envisaged by the wonders of nature's role and how inspirational if is for Art. Nature and Art share a very intimate bond. For a moment i wished to lie in Mother Nature's lap... for now, forever. The reality is ahead of me. Now i have to flow as a minute particle is the speedy momentum of the vast river so i cannot afford to be stagnant.
so i continued...
